I received my Bachelor of Science at Northern Arizona University with a Biology Major and a Chemistry Minor in May 2007. I moved to Tucson in July of 2008 and proceeded to look for a job using my degree. I was told at a young age to mind my own business and stop helping others with their homework. Little did I know that I had the makings of a teacher right there. Add years of being able to communicate with different age groups and rephrasing concepts for others having difficulty understanding what was told to them, and you get a great teacher. People have told me I have the patience of a saint. This helps me to get through an explanation until the student understands it. In February 2009, I was offered the job at SACA as a Science Teacher. I enjoy seeing the student finally understand and be able to accomplish their goals. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, helping animals and other people experience a better quality of life.
