Applicants seeking admission must:
1. submit a complete file to include the following documentation:
- Withdrawal form from last high school, if in attendance within the last six months.
- Student Enrollment Form submitted to the Academy. Parent/Guardian signature is required for students under 18.
- Student contract. Parent/Guardian signature is required for students under 18.
- Attendance Contact Card and Emergency Card.
- Home Language Survey
- Visual Likeness Release Form
- 2009-2010 Free and Reduced Price School Meals Family Application
- McKinney Vento Form
- Photocopy of Social Security card and Birth Certificate.
- Photocopy of complete Immunization records
- Academic transcripts and AIMS test scores from all high schools previously attended.
(SACA will provide a transcript letter request form. However, it is your responsibility to follow up to verify receipt of your transcripts.
- When requested by the Academy, a negative report on Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco Screening
2. attend a student, parent, principal conference and
3. attend and complete student orientation.
"Open Entry" enrollment means that classes begin upon completion of application process.
NOTE: A student who has been EXPELLED, on long-term suspension, or is in the process of being expelled from another institution may NOT be admitted to Southern Arizona Community Academy. Students EXPELLED from another school for a weapons violation SHALL NOT be admitted. Appeals may be submitted in writing to the principa's office.
